Ana Norman Bermudez is a photographer and writer interested in how humans and wildlife negotiate their place in a changing landscape. Her nature and conservation stories, built in collaboration with researchers, conservationists and local communities, explore coexistence and conflict between people and wildlife across Southeast and South Asia. The same approach has shaped her projects on Indigenous and refugee issues, working with communities to help document their lives on their own terms.

Her journalism has appeared in The Guardian, Al Jazeera, the BBC, and Mongabay. She regularly collaborates with international organisations including WWF and the UN. Ana holds an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London and an MSc in Behaviour Change from UCL. She's based in Bangkok.
